OBSESSIVE QUILTMAKING

If I wasn't obsessive about quiltmaking before, I'm quickly getting there ----
My latest project was a 24" mini-quilt with 36 4" log cabin blocks.  The quilt contains 468 pieces with 216 DIFFERENT  fabrics.  That's a lot going on in a 24" square.

Unfortunately, it didn't make a dent in my supply of tiny scraps!

Don't call me a hoarder of fabric --- I'm the curator of an extensive private textile collection that spans five decades!

Your quilt is beautiful! I love log cabins and you did a good job with color placement of your scraps. I also love minis and am addicted to them lately. Congrats on a great finish!

I am so fond of log cabin quilts. My first bedsized quilt was log cabin - it was all blue blue blue since I miscalculated how to compile the blocks.
Are you a new quilter? The quilting obsession overtook me immediately ...

WOWEE - 216 (!!!) different fabrics. Holy moly. I imagine I could come up with that many if I tried but would they all go together cohesively. Kudos - this is really cute and a good use of some stash. ~smile~ Roseanne

Awesome....I just think this is a super little quilt. I have a lot of little log cabin blocks for several different quilts going at the same time and they are just sooooo fun to make! I really like the arrangement and quilting on your quilt!

I like your 'Don't call me a hoarder' definition! That's a whole lotta tiny pieces, but it is adorable! Those scraps just keep multiplying don't they!
