STASH BUSTING

Slowly, I'm making headway on my many bins of scraps.  I'm still working on my boxes of greens; plus I opened that old box marked 'paisleys and plaids'.  I've discovered more fabrics that cry out for some fussy cutting to make small medallions.
 I've made 15 more medallions.
And, now have a total of 43.
I'm getting anxious to decide on a setting option and a color to hold it all together.
My goal is about 60 of these 4 1/2 inch squares.

I'm sure I have at least 15 more boxes to go through -- slow going as I'm trying to sort, press, and refold.  Then I get distracted and make more little medallions!

These fussy cut squares are beautiful! I was just wondering how you were going to set these. Can't wait to see more of them.

Oh, I love these little gems! I went to the first post on the topic but I don't see where you gave dimensions for the pieces. If the blocks are 4" finished, then the HSTs are 1.5" and the frames are 1"??? Thanks.

I would love to see a tutorial on these. So cute and a wonderful way to showcase fabric that wouldn't normally draw attention.

Oh my gosh! I would get distracted too by all those lovely prints. It may be slow going, but it sounds like fun to open a box and find such fun treasures. I will love to see the way you put them all together - it's going to be a fantastic quilt! Thanks so much for sharing these on MCM! :)

Absolutely gorgeous. I can imagine them set on point. Maybe use some of those scraps to make hourglass blocks to go between. Looking forward to see how you decide to set them.
